Where could I find physician that does d and c?

In 2003 I was lying down my phone rung, I got up to answer that's when I felt this terriable pain in my adbomen. About a week later I got my period, Two weeks after that I went to get a pap the doctor ther told me nothing. I soon move to Ga, I told them my situration,got the pap done again and they told me it was adnormal. So I would like to know What doctor or What is the name of buissiness does d and c?

A doctor would have to have a reason to do a D%26amp;C on you. You just cant go to the OB/GYN doctor and say i want a D%26amp;C, you have to have a medical reason.





Just go to your doctor to see what may be wrong with you, you may not need anything like that done to you.

Reply:The pain could possibly have been a cyst rupturing. It is a terrible pain and can sometimes cause fainting and such. A D%26amp;C is not just something a doc does for no reason. The only reason they are done is to remove the contents of the uterus. I don't think you need this from the sound of things. Go to a GYN to talk.
Reply:You would see a gynacologist. However, I think you may be confused. They don't do a D%26amp;C for an abnormal pap. However, they would likely due a biopsy if you have an abnormal pap to check for cancer.
Reply:You would have to have a physician order for you to have a D%26amp;C done.. You cant just go into a doctor somewhere and ask to have one done.


Your gyno would probably have to refer you to a specialist in order to assess your situation..


Unless you are pregnant and need an abortion, then that type of D%26amp;C would be done at an abortion clinic, but it doesnt sound like this is your situation.
