I mean the emails that have already been deleted from the deleted items folder. They are still on the C drive and I need to know how to erase them permanently.
How do you find deleted emails that are still on the c drive and how do you get rid of them?
hi, I use ccleaner to clean up cache's and registry, then you can use eraser to wipe the empty (supposedly) space on hard drive. This will get everything that has been deleted. Download both for free at pcworld.com
Reply:There are different drive cleaners but I wouldn't bet on any of them, I think the best way to get rid of anything permanently on your C drive is to completely reformat your system.
