I prefer the bound book to electronic format. Can I use just any book and put the lines in it? Or is Uncle Sam gonna hound me for using a book with lines drawn into it?
How do you do yours?
P.S. This IS a hunting related question DM...I use my C%26amp;R firearms to hunt.
I need a C%26amp;R bound book. Where can I find it or how can I make one that is legit?
The 2nd link below is a .pdf file. Open the page, save the file to your computer then print like 25 copies of it or more if you are like me.
Punch it for a 3 ring binder, or go to Kinkos and have them put a cover on it and bind it for you.
Read through the first link, good article.
Just got my 3rd C%26amp;R renewal and I'm full on my original bound book which had 5 spaces per page x 30 pages....yeah I know, just over 6 years and I have bought, sold and traded that many, more than one per month. And that's just the C%26amp;R stuff in there...I keep another book for my modern firearms.
Reply:Don't have a C%26amp;R myself, but I belive any book will do even if you have to draw your own lines. Might run it by BATFE. Keeping the records is what they want.
I would leave a place after each entry with enough room to note who you sold it to. I know C%26amp;R isn't a FFL, but times money does run short. I would most certanly would want a list of where a firearm went if it wasn't in my safe when/or if BATFE checks my book.
