Where can I buy one and how much are they?
Does anyone know where i can find c-130 for sale?
The C-130 is the number of the military version, and you can't buy that. You could buy the L-100 or L-132, which is the civilian version. If you are serious, you need to contact an aircraft broker (or, if you are extremely wealthy and can afford to buy a new one, contact Lockheed directly). Good luck!!
Reply:You can buy the civilian version. Some airlines use that.
Reply:trade-a plane magizine.. you can find anything in there.. or someone who knows where to find it
Reply:are you referring to the c-130 hercules transport aircraft? not sure if mr. bush would be willing to sell you one...
it's a cool plane though, love the way the props can reverse the thrust!
Reply:There is a scrap yard in New Mexico--whether the plane will fly depends on the condition and the parts availability--buy a few to cannabilize parts from. Cost?? no idea.
Reply:Um, didn't know they'd sell them used. Maybe just contact the air force to see if they're looking to retire one.
Reply:Occasionally they come up as surplus from other countries. Check this link

Reply:Try Lockheed Martin...may be they would sell you one.
Or check with a foreign user of Hercules a/c...
It is a cool plane !
How much ? I don't know...several millions of USD
Reply:You can get the C-130J for $32MM USD brand new green (you must meet OFAC background checks). There are a few on the used market (C-130H models) for around $19MM USD. I get get you into a Wet Lease for $1900/hour. But depending on what you want this for C-130 isn't a stellar performer. E-mail me if you are serious.
