My husband is trying to find the value and manufacture date of an old sears and roebuck shotgun he owns , model 101.1 made by J C Higgins stamped proof tested 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch chamber
Where can I find a website to appraise a J C Higgins shotgun?
gunbroker.com, auctionarms.com, gunsamerica.com, american-firearms.com....%26gt;%26gt;Check these sites for value %26amp; prices.*
Reply:This is the best source I could find and it will still take some more searching but I hope it will help answer your question. Click on the link below or copy and paste it to your browser.

Reply:These are the same as the Stevens 94 shotgun.
MODEL 94
- 12, 16, 20, 28 ga., or .410 bore, single shot breakopen, hammer, 6 1/4 lbs. Manufactured 1929-discontinued. I believe these were still made in the late 50's, but I'm not sure exactly when they were discontinued.
Depending on condition, value would be $40 - $95.
Reply:shotgunworld.com has a "gun value" forum. Registration is free and I have found it to be very helpful.
