Im looking for sales and rental comps in indy. i have no clue as to where to find them and any leads as to how to find them would be so helpful.
How can i find sales/ rental comps in Indianapolis IN, for class B/ C Appartment buildings to buy?
I am a mortgage broker for many years. If you are trying to
buy this apartment building, then you will need an appraisal. It is part of the appraisers job to find the comps. Appraisers and realtors have access to a database that can pull comps once you enter the proper information.
If you need financing to buy this building, please contact me at wwi_2@yahoo.com

How do you find temp in K when degrees C is -200 and P (1bs/in^2) is 3.5?
Please explain so that I can understand. Thanks!
How do you find temp in K when degrees C is -200 and P (1bs/in^2) is 3.5?
The pressure doesn't matter.
Temp. in K is simply a matter of adding 273 degrees to the Celcius reading. So, in this case, the temp would be 73 K.

Where can I find the early history of hepatitis C, from '78 to now?
I'm trying to compile a history of this disease to find out when it first was detected, and when it became widely tested for
(especially in the military).
Where can I find the early history of hepatitis C, from '78 to now?
it isn't tested in the military, hepatitis c is GIVEN in the military- along with many school aged children in the mid 70's!! VIA JETSHOT GUN!
I will see if I still have the story about HCV, but it goes back way way before 78!
Going to see if I can find it in my files. Will post back later! TAHDAH! Found it. 1965, but I know my doctor said it is even older than that...I thought 30's for sure. Oh well, the hcv is gone but I still have brain fog!
After the discovery of the Hepatitis B virus in 1965, blood banks began testing for this common blood-borne virus, and the blood pool was cleared of virtually all units capable of transmitting Hepatitis B infection. Even so, about 10% of patients receiving two or more units of blood continued to be infected with a virus which came to be known as non-A, non-B. The Hepatitis A virus is not blood-borne, and causes a limited illness after exposure to contaminated food. Hepatitis B, still a major health problem in many parts of the world, was no longer in the blood supply. For this reason the name non-A, non-B hepatitis was applied to this puzzling illness. Over the next 20 years, scientists sought to identify this second blood-borne virus without success. In 1989, through the use of advanced molecular biology techniques, the main non-A, non-B virus was identified and is now known as Hepatitis C. There may be other viruses remaining, but it appears that Hepatitis C, an RNA-containing virus, accounts for more than 90% of the cases of post-transfusion hepatitis which had remained unidentified. Initially, testing for the virus consisted of looking for antibodies which patients make when they have had the infection for several weeks. This is not an ideal test system since occasional patients in the early phases of the disease may remain unidentified; however, antibody tests currently identify virtually all patients found by other means to be chronically infected with this virus.

Find the value of c guaranteed by the mean value theorem for integrals?
Find the value of c guaranteed by the mean value theorem for integrals f(x) = - 4 / x^2
on the interval [ 1, 4 ]
The mean value theorem is: If f is continuous on the closed interval [a,b] then there exists a number c in the closed interval [a,b] such that
b
∫ f(x) dx = f(c)(b-a)
a
Not too sure what to be done here, included the theorem to see if that would help.
Find the value of c guaranteed by the mean value theorem for integrals?
Well let's just follow the formula.
int f(x) = 4/x
= 4/4 - 4/1 = -3
b - a = 4 - 1 = 3
So f(c) = 3/-3 = -1
So we need to find c such that f(c) = -1
-1 = -4 / c^2
c^2 = 4
c = 2
Could you tell me why c = -2 is not a valid solution to this problem?

How do I find out how many grams of potassium nitrate can be dissolved in 100mL of water at 30'C?
100ml of water is 100g of water, so if you look at the chart, go to 30 degrees and head up to the line, then head left, you can see that at 30 degrees you can dissolve about 20g of potassium nitrate

Is it possible to run a 7.2 volt R/C car on a solar panel? If so where could I find a suitable one?
I have a 7.2 volt remote-control car that I would like to operate using a solar panel so that I don't have to deal with rechargable batteries anymore since they lose their capacity after so many charges. Do you think it's possible and if so do you know where I might find a panel that would be suitable? Thanks.

Why not build your own one
Reply:solar panels can be used to run a car . they are avilable in most electronic shops / garden supplies shops also have them for rechargable lanturns. the problem is that can the car carry the solarpanel and voltage regulators and still move???? . i have seen model boats fitted with them but in water it is a diffrent . check out the new gen film based panels which are lighter and more efficient. optionally try Li ion or NI metal halide battries ( similar to cell phone battries ) they are light and can be recharged over 2000 times.

Find "l" the parametric vector equation of line through A and B.
Find a Cartesian equation for the plane containing the line "l" and the point C
Find a Cartesian equation for the plane containing the line "l" and the point c?
1) Find the parametric vector equation of the line thru the points A(1,1,13) and B(2,0,8).
Define vector u.
u = AB = %26lt;B - A%26gt; = %26lt;2-1, 0-1, 8-13%26gt; = %26lt;1, -1, -5%26gt;
The equation of the line thru points A and B is:
L(t) = A + tu
L(t) = %26lt;1, 1, 13%26gt; + t%26lt;1, -1, -5%26gt;
where parameter t ranges over the real numbers
__________
2) Find a Cartesian equation for the plane containing the line L(t) and the point C(1, -1, 17).
Define a second directional vector v, of the plane.
v = AC = %26lt;C - A%26gt; = %26lt;1-1, -1-1, 7-13%26gt; = %26lt;0, -2, -6%26gt;
Any non-zero multiple of v is also a directional vector of the plane. Divide by -2.
v = %26lt;0, 1, 3%26gt;
The normal vector n, of the plane is orthogonal to any vector that lies in the plane. Take the cross product.
n = u X v = %26lt;1, -1, -5%26gt; X %26lt;0, 1, 3%26gt; = %26lt;2, -3, 1%26gt;
With a point in the plane and a normal vector to the plane we can write the equation of the plane. Remember, the normal vector is orthogonal to any vector that lies in the plane. And the dot product of orthogonal vectors is zero. Define R(x,y,z) as an arbitrary point in the plane. Then vector AR lies in the plane.
n • AR = 0
n • %26lt;R - A%26gt; = 0
%26lt;2, -3, 1%26gt; • %26lt;x - 1, y - 1, z - 13%26gt; = 0
2(x - 1) - 3(y - 1) + 1(z - 13) = 0
2x - 2 - 3y + 3 + z - 13 = 0
2x - 3y + z - 12 = 0

When solving for the c squared while trying to find the foci of an Ellipses?
in the equation c^2 = a^2 - b^2, if c^2 turns out to be a negative number do u continue to working the problem with imaginary numbers or undefined. It also asks you to graph and I don't think we have learned to graph imaginary numbers if that is possible
When solving for the c squared while trying to find the foci of an Ellipses?
You suppose that a is the greater axis(half axis) so c^2 never can be negativ
Reply:"a" is the semi-major axis of the ellipse and "b" is the semi-minor axis. Therefore
a ≥ b
Therefore
c² = a² - b² ≥ 0
c ≥ 0
Consequently "c" can never be negative.

Temperature is above 40 °C in my country these last days : it's extremely hot yet i find this weather bearabl
compared to the previous weeks when the temperature oscillated between 28 ° C and 31° C but the weather was so humid.
why is humid weather so unbearable to me and to the majority of people ?
i don't have respiratory probems.
Temperature is above 40 °C in my country these last days : it's extremely hot yet i find this weather bearabl
The way your body cools in the heat is to perspire. The evaporation of perspiration carries the heat away from your body, cooling you down. If it's too humid, the sweat wont evaporate, so you aren't getting rid of your excess body heat.
Reply:Depending on where you are born depends on wheather or not you have adapted to such weather conditions making it seem bearable to you and unbearable to others.
Reply:Humidity, or dampness in the air tends to feel hotter. The air is thicker and it is more energy sapping than dry heat.
Reply:Even if it is hot, as long as the place is dry it's okay. If a place is too hot, the body cools by perspiration, if the place is humid, your sweat will not evaporate from your body. Instead of letting you cool down, it traps the heat inside of your body making you feel hotter

Where can I find a doctor that treats cancer with high dose vitamin C?
my mother-in-law has stage 4 stomach cancer. I read somewhere that high dose IV vitamin C might help. It's a long shot but I guess it wouldn't hurt. Does anyone know where I could obtain this in southern California area?
Where can I find a doctor that treats cancer with high dose vitamin C?
Have her doctor get in contact with Cancer Treatment Centers of America since they are conducting a legitimate Clinical Trial to test this theory. She has nothing to lose and she may end up helping to determine if this treatment will benefit cancer patients. You need to check the eligibility requirements:
Clinical Trials: A Phase I Study of High-Dose IV Vitamin C Treatment
http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct/show/NCT004...
"This study is currently recruiting patients.
Verified by Cancer Treatment Centers of America March 2007
Purpose
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of Vitamin C given by injection into the vein.
The second and third purpose of conducting this study is to observe any evidence of tumor response to the Vitamin C and compare the level of fatigue (weakness), pain control, ability to do things and your quality of life, before and after Vitamin C is given.
Study Type: Interventional
Study Design: Treatment, Non-Randomized, Open Label, Uncontrolled, Single Group Assignment, Safety/Efficacy Study
Official Title: A Phase I Study of High-Dose IV Vitamin C Treatment in Patients With Solid Tumors
Further study details as provided by Cancer Treatment Centers of America:
Primary Outcomes: Evaluate the safety and tolerability of high dose IV Vitamin C as a monotherapy; Evaluate the pharmacokinetic profile of IV Vitamin C at varing doses.
Secondary Outcomes: Determine if vitamin C accumulates with repeated daily therapy by measuring peak and nadir levels.; Evaluate patient quality of life; Observe patients for clinical and radiological evidence of anti-tumor activity at the end of treatment.
Expected Total Enrollment: 18
Study start: August 2006; Expected completion: August 2009
Preclinical studies of pharmacologic doses of vitamin C (ascorbic acid, ascorbate) have shown significant anticancer effects in animal models and tissue culture investigations including cytotoxic effects in certain cancer cell lines at micromolar to millimolar concentrations.
Early clinical studies have shown that intravenous and oral doses of vitamin C may improve symptoms and prolong survival in terminal cancer patients. More recent double-blind placebo-controlled studies have shown that oral adminstration of vitamin C provides no benefit to cancer patients. Conversely, intravenous vitamin C administration raises plasma concentrations as high as 14 mM/L, and concentrations of 1-5 mM/L have been found to be selectively cytoxic to tumor cells in vitro.
The proposed Phase I trial with vitamin c should achieve millimolar concentrations of vitamin C that have been shown to kill tumor cells in vitro. The maximum tolerated dose (MTD), PK, possible drug accumulation with repeated dosing, quality of life, pain response, fatigue status,and hints of efficacy in patients with advanced cancer will be examined.

Find all values of c such that the domain of f(x)=(x+1)/(x^2+2cx+4) where the domain is all real numbers?
I've been stuck on this problem for over twenty minutes, I am not even sure if there is a value of C where the domain is all real numbers because I see that there will always be an asymptote. Thanks in advance.
Find all values of c such that the domain of f(x)=(x+1)/(x^2+2cx+4) where the domain is all real numbers?
You want values of c that will not make the bottom of the fraction zero.
Thus x^2 + 2cx + 4 must not be equal to zero for those values of c.
This means that x^2 + 2cx + 4 must not have any real roots.
This occurs when the discriminant %26lt; zero
Discriminant = 4c^2 - 16 %26lt; 0
c^2 - 4 %26lt; 0
(c-2)(c+2) %26lt; 0
This occurs when -2 %26lt; c %26lt; 2
Reply:what about c=0????
whit x^2 + 4 in the denominator, there are no asymptotes.
You want the denominator to be different of 0.
Let's solve x^2 + 2cx + 4 = 0
this equation has no solution if 4c^2 - 16%26lt;0
which means:
c^2%26lt;4
%26lt;=%26gt; c is in (-2,2)
therefor, the domain of f(x)=(x+1)/(x^2+2cx+4) is all real numbers if c is between -2,2

Best way to find a short circuit in a 1970 chevy c-10 long bed ?
The short drains my battery in about 1 and a half. I checked bby pulling the fuses out .. but it must be sumin directly wired?
Best way to find a short circuit in a 1970 chevy c-10 long bed ?
Definately get your charging system tested and see if your battery is still good if it is then you should look around the truck since its draining the battery then something must be shorted to a power wire if indeed there is a short look for anything that is staying on like a light , any aftermarket add ons,accesories inside the vehicle etc. since you most likely dont have a wire schematic then its not going to be easy but if you do find something staying on then follow both wires were ever they go and make sure ther arent any shorts anywere . thats about all i can think of. forgot to add autozone does free charging system test and its quick just drive your rig there and let them know
Reply:Have the battery tested with a load tester, if Ok have the charging system (likely the alternatoir regulator is defective). Remember a bad ground will cause the charging system to not work properly as well. It sound like the alt or battery more than a short. To check for a short just remove the neg cable and use a test light and see if it lights up. Good Luck and God Bless

Where could I find physician that does d and c?
In 2003 I was lying down my phone rung, I got up to answer that's when I felt this terriable pain in my adbomen. About a week later I got my period, Two weeks after that I went to get a pap the doctor ther told me nothing. I soon move to Ga, I told them my situration,got the pap done again and they told me it was adnormal. So I would like to know What doctor or What is the name of buissiness does d and c?
Where could I find physician that does d and c?
A doctor would have to have a reason to do a D%26amp;C on you. You just cant go to the OB/GYN doctor and say i want a D%26amp;C, you have to have a medical reason.
Just go to your doctor to see what may be wrong with you, you may not need anything like that done to you.
But you would go to an Gyneocoligist
Reply:The pain could possibly have been a cyst rupturing. It is a terrible pain and can sometimes cause fainting and such. A D%26amp;C is not just something a doc does for no reason. The only reason they are done is to remove the contents of the uterus. I don't think you need this from the sound of things. Go to a GYN to talk.
Reply:You would see a gynacologist. However, I think you may be confused. They don't do a D%26amp;C for an abnormal pap. However, they would likely due a biopsy if you have an abnormal pap to check for cancer.
Reply:You would have to have a physician order for you to have a D%26amp;C done.. You cant just go into a doctor somewhere and ask to have one done.
Your gyno would probably have to refer you to a specialist in order to assess your situation..
Unless you are pregnant and need an abortion, then that type of D%26amp;C would be done at an abortion clinic, but it doesnt sound like this is your situation.

Looking for carbide sandpaper 400 waterproof c wt. Does anyone know where can I find it?
This is very fine sandpaper. There is another word before "Carbide" (____con) but I can't make it out. Thanks.

Auto parts stores will have a lesser grade of it but I like the upper grade and I get mine from an auto paint supply store. They will have 400, 600, 1000 and even 1500 as well not to mention anything else you'd need for restoring paint.
Reply:You can get this redily at any auto-parts store, they have a full selection of "fine" grade sanding paper in different mediums.

You can buy it here and the other word is Silicon
This should be at any hardware store also.

Where is the BEST place to find free puppies and Dogs B/C...?
i want to rescue a animal from the fate of uthanasha ( death by drug). B/c that is what happens to all shelter dogs after they r at the shelter too long!
Where is the BEST place to find free puppies and Dogs B/C...?
different shelters have different reputations... you have to check with knowledgeable dog people in the area where you live. if you lived near me I could tell you where to go to rescue a dog... but it's a local thing... call up some trainers in your area and take a survey.
way to go, rescuing a dog is a wonderful thing!
ps- it probably won't be free... most shelters charge an adoption fee, but it usually isn't much.
Reply:Not all shelters kill an animal. There are some no-kill shelters and rescues don't kill them either...the only place to get a free dog is the newspaper...in the section with pets...
Reply:I think you answered your own question - go to your local animal control center/ shelter. They would much rather give the dogs to good homes than euthanize them. The shelter in my county does not euthanize animals. They keep them until they find a home for them.
Reply:Look at all the sweet adoptable pups on my 360. You are right to adopt a pound pup.
If you live near the Upshur Pound they can transport.

How do I find all the things I pressed CTRL C then CTRL V in mozilla?
I copied the name of a website but then I closed Mozilla and I dont remember what the name was? Where can I find a list of all the CTRL C and CTRL V done in Mozilla.
How do I find all the things I pressed CTRL C then CTRL V in mozilla?
it's probably still in your history
Reply:As far as i know u can't get list of copied item in mozila.. i mean there is not list handling only one item is copied to clipboard (name of memory area stores the copied (Ctrl + C) item in temporary memory - BUFFER).
So when u copy (Ctrl + C) a text , and then again copy(Ctrl + C) second one without pasting(Ctrl + V) the second one you will loose the first one.
In Windows 98 there was a small tool - Clipboard Viewer which shows the item copied, but i could not find in XP (there may be in XP).
If u find any thing NEW let me know... And wish u Happy New Year
Reply:since you have entered CTRL C, then it is in the memory... you will just press CTRL V to paste what you've copied.
even if the "mozilla" was closed, still you will be able to CTRL V the recent file...lol
then it must have been perhaps deleted 4ever!
i dont do mozilla...im using the internet explorer..its much more better....it has this history of recent visited site feature...lol

yuh! but it depends if what kind of juice.. orange juice, kalamansi juice.. all citrus juices have great amount of Vit. c
Reply:On the nutrition thing you should be able to...
Reply:You mean via an experiment?
I'm sure there are a few ways. Mass Spectrometry comes to mind, and also spectroscopy.
Mass spectrometry - insert a sample and you can use a tandem MS method to separate a known mass/charge quantity analyte from the mixure. This would give you a relative abundance.
Spectroscopy - you could use a known enzymatic reaction specific to ascorbic acid and measure the concentration via a bicinchoninic acid assay.
Good luck!

Can you find multiple characters in a string in C programming?
I would like to search for spaces and newline characters and tabs, so I want a function like
string.find(' '||'\n'||'\t', 0) %26lt;~~~~ But this is obviously not correct syntax. What is the correct way to go about doing this?
Can you find multiple characters in a string in C programming?
I do not have access to a C compiler any more so this may have some typos.
The first thing to understand is that C does not really support a string data type. What it does support is an array of char types with a null byte as the last meaningful byte.
For example, declare a char array of 10 bytes and assign "John" as its initial value:
char name[10] = "John";
What will actually be in the char's of the array is as follows:
name[0] will contain 'J'
name[1] will contain 'o'
name[2] will contain 'h'
name[3] will contain 'n'
name[4] will contain '\0'
The \0 is how a null byte is represented. The remaining five bytes will have values that you cannot predict, the will be whatever the byte in memory had in them, they wont be changed or initialized.
Also remember that in C, the name of an array is always a pointer to the first element in the array.
void Find( char *szValue )
{
/* Create a temp pointer and assign it to the start of the array */
char *szTemp = szValue;
while ( szTemp )
{
if ( szTemp == '\t' )
{
/* Do whatever you wanted to do for a tab character */
}
else if ( szTemp == '\r' )
{
/* Do whatever you wanted to do for return character */
}
else if ( szTemp == '\n' )
{
/* Do whatever you wanted to do for a newline character */
}
szTemp++;
}
}
IF you just want to find the first occurrence of a character within a string, you can use the strchr function, link below to explanation and example.

Where can i go to find free info on building a jet engine for an r/c plane?
You probably won't be able to build one. They require specialized tools and especially metallurgy. If you want one, it's a bunch cheaper and more certain to just buy one of the right size. Cool to try, though.

Reply:I'm an RC truck/car guy so I'm no expert, but I think you have to be a licensed jet pilot before you can fly one of those. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but that is what they said on DIY channels "Radio Control Hobbies". These things fly around 200mph so if you don't know what you're doing you could very easily kill someone. The fuel is also extremely dangerous and can explode if not handled properly.
Reply:I agree. It is cheaper to buy one. But if your tight on finances, there is also available for R?C models, a ducted fan unit that works almost like a pure jet engine.
What KB2002 is talking about is a membership in the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics). It is a national organization and you must be a member to get a "license" to fly your model at a AMA sanctioned flying field. With the membership license comes a one million dollar liability insurance policy.

Other than recruiters, where is the best way to find and hire a C# Developer?
I am not a technical guy…my boss just dropped this in my lap. I work for a hedge fund in CT. we can relo, take care of visa and are not afraid to pay a significant premium for top tier talent.
Other than recruiters, where is the best way to find and hire a C# Developer?
I'm a recruiter and I'm a big believer in grass roots (and no cost) recruiting.
I'd try doing a keyword search on myspace on "C# Developer) and send e-mails about the job to anyone who lists that as their profession.
I'd also contact vocational schools and colleges who teach that skill and see if they can refer people to you.
Craigslist will allow you to post for free.
Nettemps and Dice.com are also good tech job search engines.
Reply:You could run an ad on Dice
Reply:Definitely craiglist.
But how will you evaluate the talent if you are not technical?

I have lost all info about my home warranty, how do I find out I have one and if not, get one? A/C stopped.?
I remember getting a packet int the paperwork with the house, but don't know where it is now. Do Hme warranty cover a/c problems. Please help.
I have lost all info about my home warranty, how do I find out I have one and if not, get one? A/C stopped.?
Generally, the home warranty that comes from the builder does cover HVAC, at least mine did. That being said, it was only for a year. Your homebuilder may know who the company is, if they didn't extend coverage themselves. I could have extended the one I had through that company, but found the one from Sears covered more for less money. One of the most common companies is American Home Warranty. You could call them to see whether you had a policy with them. If you didn't you can call Sears and buy one through them. You can also contact the manufacturer of the AC unit to see whether it is still covered by them.
Reply:A/C manufacturers normally warranty the compressor for 5-10 years and all other parts for 5 years. Your builder should be able to tell you what HVAC company installed the equipment and they can tell you what labor warranty they offered. Good luck.
Reply:ur compressor out side is covered for 5 yrs typical, everything else on the hvac is 3 yrs.....contact ur contractor and/or real estate person u bought the house from and get ur info..
lic. gen. contractor
Reply:Unless specifically excluded, the AC should be covered.
Contact in this order.. based on the contact information you remember:
1. Closing Agency - They have the paperwork for everything copied and will have it.
2. Your Real Estate Agent - They will have the contact information for the Closing Agency.
3. Seller's Real Estate Agent - They will have the contact information for the Closing Agency.
4. Seller - Hopefully they will have their Real Estate Agents contact information and/or the Home Warranty information.
This order of contact is the proper order to search... leaving the seller out of the process unless a last resort.
Good luck and I hope this helps!

Is there a site where I can find out the names and locations of ALL the venomous snakes in N.C?
I have used the search engine. I am only getting a short list. I am looking for the types of snakes including all the types of rattlesnakes, coral, cottonmouths, copperheads etc that are native to North Carolina. I also need the region where they are located. This can be a PDF or a site with pics, it really does not matter.
Is there a site where I can find out the names and locations of ALL the venomous snakes in N.C?
I found this: http://www.naturalsciences.org/research/...
I can't boast of having much knowledge about snakes, so I certainly can't express my opinion of this information one way or another.... But I searched a bit and came up with the above. Hope it helps. I'll see if I can find more.
EDIT: Here are a few more links that I came across:
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article...
About poisonous snakes in general, not N.C. snakes in particular- http://www.camo-store.com/US%20poisonous...

http://web.dcr.state.nc.us/Documents/Hum... (a word processing document that you have to download)
http://www.ncaquariums.com/askaquarium/s...
Let me know if this isn't enough. I would be glad to try to search for more information.
Reply:That's understandable. Too bad you don't have a photo of the snake, because there are any number of people who would be able to identify it.
Good luck, and be careful. ☺ Report It

Where can I find the manual for an old brother sewing machine Model C ISO 863499 D Sm?
I bought this machine from a friend of mine that bought it from a garage sale. Is there a way to find the manual that goes with it without having to pay money for it?
Where can I find the manual for an old brother sewing machine Model C ISO 863499 D Sm?
There are a few sites that sell reproduction manuals for older sewing machines that I know of:
www.sewingmanuals.com/
www.sewUSA.com
www.sewing-machine-manuals.com
If none of them has one, you can always look on ebay and one might come up eventually. I don't know anywhere that would have it for free if Brother doesn't.
Reply:Not that i can figure out the website for brothers has a link that gets the manual but its $21.00+ so I dont know how you would get a free one.

How do I find out the tonage on my current A/C unit so i can replace with the same size? Its not listed.?
It is a Carrier model #38ENO24300. Is that a 2 ton because of the 24 in the model #?
How do I find out the tonage on my current A/C unit so i can replace with the same size? Its not listed.?
You may want to consult the company and or "store" you plan on purchasing the new unit from. Your exsisting unit may or may not be the correct size. Are you going to install the new unit yourself? More than likely not unless you`re a tech. If you are it`s quite likely that you already have this info available to you. So, since you`re asking, we have to assume not. Therefore I would have to suggest having an expert come out and take a look around and hook you up with the appropriate sized unit.

Does anyone know where to find a current photo of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Washington D.C.?
I was disgusted when on a trip to Washington, D.C. to find that the Iraq embassy was deserted with unruly vines growing over the gate and on the building, trash was everywhere, and the building was no longer under any visible maintenance. I did not have a camera with me and would really like a photo of the horrible conditions that this building is in. If anyone has a link to a photo online, I would be very grateful. Thanks!

How do you find the least and greatest amount in C++?
I'm supposed to write a program where
1. The user can enter as many numbers as they can and to stop they would enter -99.
2. After they have entered -99 I'm supposed to display the highest number that they entered and the lowest number that they entered (which cannot be -99).
If you help me I will REALLY appriciate it thanks a lot!
How do you find the least and greatest amount in C++?
Just have a variable called max and min
for the first number then enter just set that to max and min
then for each additional number
if num %26gt; max then max=num
if num %26lt; min and num %26lt;%26gt; -99 then min=num
Reply:There are a lot of ways to do it. Here is one:
Every time the user type one number you store it in an array (Array). When he has finished the typing, you know the lenght of the array (ArrayLenght). Take it from the begining, make 2 variables (let's say MaxVal and MinVal) and assing each one with the first number in the array.
Go to the next value in the array (for i=2 to ArrayLenght)
If Array[i]%26gt;MaxVal then MaxVal=Array[i]
else If Array[i]%26lt;MinVal then MinVal=Array[i]
And so one until you reach the end the array.
That will be all.
Reply:I have seen 2-ans given to you, but i dont think that are right one.
Your problem can only be solved by using linklist-----1)you need a dynamic array which can grow dynamically
2)node creation process shud be recursive and end only when -99 enters.
For finding out greatest and least you can use any logic which involves less comparisons so that it wud be optimised.

Anyone know any good sites to find C++ tutorials that cover more then just the basic things?
Does anyone know a good site or sites to find tutorials for the C++ programming language? I've found a lot of sites but none of them go much farther then the very basics. A few of them have a couple random topics on more advanced things but not enough to really learn anything off of.
Anyone know any good sites to find C++ tutorials that cover more then just the basic things?
My suggestion is to get some books. Web sites aren't really suited to the long format that books are. It's really worth the money. If you are lucky you can find a library with them.
Some of the best authors are
Koenig %26amp; Moo
Herb Sutter
Scott Meyers
Bjarne Stroustrup
Andrei Alexandrescu - his book "Modern C++ Design" is a mind-bending template book. Seriously advanced stuff.
You can find excellent book reviews at accu.org. In fact you should check every book you buy through there. This way you skip the junk. Some books teach bad things and have negative value.
Reply:I would use Thinking in C++ V1 and V2. After that, I'd be looking at the C++ FAQs book.
There are good forums and mailing lists that have experts in C++. I'll go to those places to find answers to my questions after I fail to find answers from these books.

How can you find the mathematical inverse of a matrix in C++?
I have a 3x3 matrix and need to find the mathematical inverse of it. I do not need the inverse of each individual term, but the inverse of the entire matrix.
How can you find the mathematical inverse of a matrix in C++?
The inversion of a 3x3 matrix is very easy to solve, however the equation is fairly long. You can find it on wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse_mat...

How do I find the area of a trapeziod in terms of a, b, and c??
The vertices of a trapezoid are (0, a), (0, 0), (0, b) and (c, a).
How do I find the area of a trapeziod in terms of a, b, and c??
Your points do not define a trapezoid. I'm assuming that you meant (b,0) and not (0,b). If so then the area is calculated in the following:
A = a*b + (c-b)*a/2
A = a*b + a*c/2 - a*b/2
A = a*b/2 + a*c/2
A = (b+c)*a/2
Reply:You do not have a trapezoid here, your points are incorrect, either a or b needs to be an X value, not a y value. You have a triangle right now

Find the value of constant c for which line y=2x+c is a tangent to curve y^2=4x?
im doing as level math ..i have seen the solution but am unable to solve it ..it has been solved using the dicriminant
fist they eliminated the variable y and then used the discriminant to find c which is positive 1/2
Find the value of constant c for which line y=2x+c is a tangent to curve y^2=4x?
so when you see the word tangent the first thing that should come to mind is the derivative. The derivative gives all the slopes of the original graph, so, the problem is basically asking ...which point has a slope of 2....
isolate y to get y = sqrt(4x)
find it's derivative y' = 2 / sqrt(4x)
set the derivative to 2 .....2 = 2 / sqrt(4x)
x= 1/4.....so in the original function....a x=1/4 it has a slope of 2. now you need to find it's coordinates in the original function.
y = sqrt(4X) y = sqrt( 4 * 1/4 ) = sqrt 1 = 1
plug 1/4 in the original to get y= 1...this is what you get (1/4,1)
set up y = mx + c 1 = 2(1/4) + c
ANSWER :
c = 1/2
Reply:I don't know why they would do it that way.
First just isolate y in the second equation:
y=2√(x)=2x^(1/2)
You know the tangent line's equation is y=2x+c, and therefore its slope is 2. This means the function's derivative is 2.
So we find the derivative:
y=2x^(1/2)
y'=1/√(x)
Now set that equal to 2:
2=1/√(x)
2√(x)=1
√(x)=1/2
x=1/4
So we have the x-value where that given line is tangent to the curve (1/4). Plug that into the original equation to get the y-value:
y=2√(x)
y=2√(1/4)
y=1/2
That means the point of tangency is (1/4,1/2). Plug that into our equation for the tangent line to find c:
y=2x+c
1/2=2(1/4)+c
1/2=1/2+c
0=c
So I got c=0... but it's late, so I may have missed something stupidly obvious. Don't trust me until you check it :P .
-IMP ;) :)
Reply:Rewrite y^2=4x as y=(4x)^0.5 = y=2x^0.5
If the line touch the curve, they have a common point, we can find that making 2x+c=2x^0.5
Now we know that c=2x^0.5-2x (I)
The angular coeficient of the line is the derivative of the function on the point the line touch the curve, and with the expression y=2x+c we can that this coeficient is 2.
So...
derivative of y is y'=1/(x)^0.5
now solving 1/(x)^0.5=2 give us x=1/4 (II)
using (II) in (I) we have that c=1/2

How do I find out the center of gravity coordinates of a triangle knowing the coordinates of A B and C?
I don't have much of a clue.
How do I find out the center of gravity coordinates of a triangle knowing the coordinates of A B and C?
If we call the three vertices A=(x1,y1); B=(x2,y2) and C=(x3,y3) then the coordinates of the geocenter would be
(x1+x2+x3)/(3), y1+y2+y3)/(3)
Just as clueless, so I got this from site:

I need a C&R bound book. Where can I find it or how can I make one that is legit?
I prefer the bound book to electronic format. Can I use just any book and put the lines in it? Or is Uncle Sam gonna hound me for using a book with lines drawn into it?
How do you do yours?
P.S. This IS a hunting related question DM...I use my C%26amp;R firearms to hunt.
I need a C%26amp;R bound book. Where can I find it or how can I make one that is legit?
The 2nd link below is a .pdf file. Open the page, save the file to your computer then print like 25 copies of it or more if you are like me.
Punch it for a 3 ring binder, or go to Kinkos and have them put a cover on it and bind it for you.
Read through the first link, good article.
Just got my 3rd C%26amp;R renewal and I'm full on my original bound book which had 5 spaces per page x 30 pages....yeah I know, just over 6 years and I have bought, sold and traded that many, more than one per month. And that's just the C%26amp;R stuff in there...I keep another book for my modern firearms.
Reply:Don't have a C%26amp;R myself, but I belive any book will do even if you have to draw your own lines. Might run it by BATFE. Keeping the records is what they want.
I would leave a place after each entry with enough room to note who you sold it to. I know C%26amp;R isn't a FFL, but times money does run short. I would most certanly would want a list of where a firearm went if it wasn't in my safe when/or if BATFE checks my book.

Anyone know where I can find a list of all C & D Counties in the US?
I'm trying to find a list online of all the smaller C %26amp; D counties across the US and am having some problems. Anyone know where I might have some luck in finding them by chance?

The census bureau's website-I used it for my regional development class- if you go to their site you can obtain statistical data from census 2000 for every county in the United States- you'll have to select each state first then review the data. I don't have the website memorized any longer, but google census bureau data 2000. Good luck

How do I find out about the death of Amanda C. Martin of illinois?
She was murdered I believe between Maywood, Ill. and Melrose Park, Ill. from what my family tells me she was found in an alley by someone that was walking their pet. Naked with a hopital gown wrapped around her face. Thats pretty much all I know. She was my first cousin my mothers niece and I seem to be the only relative that cares enough to really find out what happened and if any one was arrested for the murder of my cousin.

How can I find out a hospitals c-section rate?
I am 16 weeks pregnant and want to have a natural birth, but due to family history I was considered high risk and am going to teaching hospital for my pre-natal care. The majority of the screening test are over and my baby girl is just fine. My doctor is very good but I haven't talked with him about delivery. So, I want to go in prepared when I do.
How can I find out a hospitals c-section rate?
Ask them. Pick up the phone and call the office and ask.
Reply:Ask your doctor or call the hospital and ask them.
Reply:I got that information from my prenatal class. It does seem like more and more women are having c-sections though.
Reply:Finding out the hospital's c-section rate is just one part of the task ahead of you. You will also need to know your doctor's personal c-section rate. But even then, you need to educate yourself on many aspects of labor and delivery in order to prevent the Cesarean. You should not be required to have a Cesarean simply because your mother and grandmother had them. Chances are, they like many other women in their generations and ours were misguided about their need for a Cesarean.
Research has shown that unnecessary Cesareans are performed for two main reasons: Failure to Progress and Cephalopelvic Disproportion (baby too big, pelvis too small). The reason I say that these procedures are unnecessary is because midwives help women give birth AT HOME all day long and the FTP and CPD rates are almost zero. Why is it that women giving birth at home have such high success rates compared to women who give birth in hospitals? It is because the hospitals are for sick people and the hospital environment makes it so much easier for a doctor to convince a woman that she needs help having her baby. Pregnant women, in general, are not sick people. If you eat right, take the right vitamins and supplements, and exercise properly your body will be adequately prepared to give birth naturally. The home birth midwife prepares the woman for the miracle of bringing a baby into the world in the natural way that she was created to do. Hospitals are a great place to labor and deliver if complications are expected and in emergency situations, but in a lot of cases the complications that arise are actually caused by invasive interventions that are performed by the doctor.
Here are some such procedures:
*** Labor Induction- When a woman's labor is induced through unnatural means, the pain is usually so bad that she begs for pain medication. The meds knock her out, as well as the baby. Did you know that your baby has an active part in the birthing process? It is something inside the baby that triggers labor in the first place. Then, as the baby is being delivered, he is navigating himself down the birth canal-maneuvering his head and shoulders so that he can get out. When he is sedated by drugs, he can not do this. So everything locks up and progression stops. Then here comes the doctor, wanting to perform the Cesarean because of something that HE did in the first place. Do you think it odd that If progression somehow stops during a HOME BIRTH, as long as the baby's fetal heart tones are fine, the midwife just goes back to bed and checks on you later. That's all that needs to be done. But that usually doesn't happen at home, because most midwives will not use drugs. The truth is, labor sometimes takes hours, but the best way to progress is naturally without any intervention. God will not let that baby stay in there forever. If you do want to speed up the process, there is an herb called BLUE COHOSH. The Indians used it during labor to help dilate the cervix. It has been used to start real labor, but it will not start labor unless it is time. I would start by taking 2 capsules. Maybe do this every 12 hours? It's not an exact science and it is based on your own body chemistry. (Wait until at least your due date to start this.) And, of course, sexual intercourse releases substances into your body (from your partner) and triggers your own hormones to begin labor.
***Lying in a bed on your back is the WORST position in which to labor - except standing on your head, of course. It goes against the flow of gravity. Try to have as much mobility as possible during the first stage of labor. The baby pushing DOWN on your cervix helps you to dilate. Lying on your back may pinch some blood vessels that otherwise would help with the labor process.
*** Some people believe that EPIDURALS increase the risk of Cesarean because it slows down the progress. If you must have one for any reason, try to wait until you have dilated as much as possible. Certainly do not let the doctor administer the epidural before you are at least 5 cm dilated.
*** Another reason that many doctors perform Cesareans is because they say the woman's pelvis is too small and the baby is too big (Cephalopelvic Disproportion or CPD). They show her x-rays that "prove" the baby will not fit through. (You know, God made a mistake making this woman's body...) A chiropractor pointed out that the pelvis is made (by God) to become "elastic-like" during delivery. The pelvis WILL be sufficient to deliver the baby when the time comes. There are few instances where the woman's body is REALLY incapable of giving birth. The CPD rate for home births is, well, it doesn't happen. Honestly, the rate would be extremely small. Midwives try every "trick" in their bag to encourage the baby to find its way out. Doctors don't have time for that, so they just schedule a c-section. One doctor used this excuse on a woman. She later found out that the baby was breech, but that the doctor was not comfortable delivering a breech. He made her think that HER BODY was the problem when, really, it was his insecurity. Isn't that a great reason to put a woman through such an ordeal? We really must educate ourselves more.
Here's a great book to read on the subject:
**** SILENT KNIFE: CESAREAN PREVENTION AND VAGINAL BIRTH AFTER CESAREAN by Nancy Wainer-Cohen %26amp; Lois Estner
Although this book is written for women who want to have vaginal births after experiencing Cesareans, it give valuable information that will benefit any woman who is going to give birth. It outlines many procedures that are done on women and unborn babies that are not necessary. Many of these interventions lead to the need for Cesareans.
Educating yourself is your best tool for getting the child-birth experience that you want. I am not saying that your doctor (or all doctors) will lie to a woman in order to get her to consent to a Cesarean. I also am not telling you to try to have your baby at home. That is certainly a very personal decision that many women are not ready for. But you certainly don't want to be uneducated about your options when you are at your most vulnerable point during labor/delivery. When you have to make that decision, you want to be as educated about your options as you can be. You should not have to depend on the doctor or hospital policy to tell you what is best for you and your baby.
If you design your birth plan well, you can have a "home birth" atmosphere while delivering in a hospital birthing suite. Tell your doctor if you would like or dislike certain procedures (ie., no episiotomy, no shaving or enema, baby stay with mother at all times, Vitamin K by mouth instead of injection for baby, full range of mobility). If you do not tell him/her that you want these things, then they will do what is the most convenient for them. But in most cases, when you inform them of your desires they will try their best to oblige. It is just that not very many women know, understand, or care that they can have a better birth experience that does not have to end in a Cesarean.
*Please remember the newborn babies that have been kidnapped from hospitals! This is the main reason that I advocate telling your doctor that you do not, under any circumstance, want your baby taken out of your sight. Most hospitals, on your request, will perform all of baby's necessary exams while still in your room and allow 24 hour "rooming in". If, for any reason, your baby must be taken to the nursery or elsewhere, make sure that you, your husband, or a trusted family representative, can accompany the baby. Otherwise, I would find another hospital. We can not longer count on other people to protect our children. We are their protection.
I have much more information on how to avoid specific procedures such as Episiotomies, and how to have the best care for your newborn. Please Email Me or check out some of my other answers.
*I have also designed my own Birth Plan in case I have to deliver in a hospital. It is designed to provide the most private, least invasive experience for us and our baby. I would be glad to share that with anyone.

Thinking in C++ is worth a buy.

What website can I go to, to find great mortgage leads for the d.c., maryland and virginia area, for cheap?
I am just starting out a job as a loan originator and I need business bad. I am young and I am not exactly the most experienced. I have excellent contacts but I am looking for a steady flow of business. If you have experience with leads or know some good websites please help me.
What website can I go to, to find great mortgage leads for the d.c., maryland and virginia area, for cheap?
The best way to build your business is to build rapport with local agents. Chose one or two high volume Real Estate offices in your area and drop in once a week, introduce yourself to everyone in the office, tell them what you do that is different from all the other lenders out there. Make flyers they can give to clients that highlight some of your loan programs. Not flyers like "Good rates! Use Me!" But flyers with real information, like special loan programs, with expamples of what payments would be with a certain purchase price and rate.
Reply:Send me an e-mail. I have a site where you can post your mortgage rates. It is still under constructions and currently there is no charge. If you get a lead, it is yours to keep. As mentioned, don't expect much as it is still under construction.

How do you find out if a corporation has a valid 501(c)(3) status? Is there a government site?
Yes, you can refer to "Publication 78" of the IRS, linked below.
How do you find out if a corporation has a valid 501(c)(3) status? Is there a government site?
A 501(c)3 organization means you can give a tax deductible donation. If a company is requesting a donation, ask for proof. I used to work at a foundation that distributed grants. I always required a copy of the 501(c) 3 IRS designation letter.

How do I find the surface area of a sphere given C = 23 pi?
SA = 4 pi r squared. Where do I plug in C? Do I subsitute 23 pi for 4 pi?
How do I find the surface area of a sphere given C = 23 pi?
C = circumference
C = 2(pi)r
where r is the radius.
use that equation to solve for r
then plug r into your SA equation
Reply:pi r square cornbread r round
Reply:use the formula c= 2pi.R formula to find the radius. Now the you have the radius use the 4pi r^2 formula to find the area.

Where can i find Spanish or African Christmas songs/carols on C.D?
I'm helping to organise a chirtsmas concert and would like songs and carols from other nations, for a group of singers to learn.
Where can i find Spanish or African Christmas songs/carols on C.D?
There's Spanish ones on links below. Plus an African Mass showing on the Amazon link. If you have a large record store such as HMV in your vicinity they should have a world music section which would be worth browsing.

How do you find the number of units x that produce a minimum cost C if C=0.01x^2-90x+15000.?
How do you also find on the calculator? Thanks.
How do you find the number of units x that produce a minimum cost C if C=0.01x^2-90x+15000.?
OK
C = .01x^2 -90x +15000
Take first derivitive, and where this = 0 is max/min point
0=.02x -90
90 = .02x
4500 = x
At x = 4500
C = .01(4500)^2 - 90(4500) + 15000
C = 202,500 - 405,000 + 15,000
C = -187,500
Hope that helps.
Reply:This is a concave curve opening upward, this to find the minimum, we need to know when the derivative = 0 (that is, when a line tangent to the curve is parallel to the x-axis, which would represent the minimum value of the curve).
C' = 0.02x - 90
0.02x - 90 = 0
0.02x = 90
x = 90/0.02
x = 4500 units
Hope this helps! :)
Reply:well, considering that this equation is parabolic,......
the parabola opens up, and the vertical translation is up 15000 and it opens up from there, so the minimum cost of C must be the minimum value, which is 15000.
on the calculator, you would set x equal to 0 which still ends up being 15000
Reply:on a calculator, sketch the curve and trace along the graph till you reach the minimum point.
to do this analytically, take the derivative and set it equal to zero.

Does Someone Know where I can Find a Clinic that does Hydroxgen Peroxide Therapy for Hep C in or close to OH?
I've been diagnosed with Hep C. I've heard of a treatment called Hydroxgen Peroxide Therapy. Its done through IVs. I've been looking for a clinic that does this particular therapy for this disease. I need it to be in or close to Ohio. Please help me.
Does Someone Know where I can Find a Clinic that does Hydroxgen Peroxide Therapy for Hep C in or close to OH?
Here I found this in Cleveland Ohio - call them Monday!!! It says Hepatitis C treatment. If this is a new treatment, it may not be on their website yet so call them and ask and ask if they know any place that does have this treatment.

Look in your yellow pages for a county medical clinic. Call information and ask them for the med clinic in your county - most of them have one. Feel better. My bf's mom has it and was on that medication that you take for it - interfuron I think and she cleared the virus within a few months her cell count was great- so that is great. So - you may want to try that out. I don't see the one that you mention though. Can't you ask the dr. that diagnosed you? Try to treat yourself well - baby your body, rest, no stress!!! Good luck :o)
Some treatment info from site:
Good health habits are essential for those who have hepatitis C, especially avoidance of alcohol and other medications and drugs that can harm the liver. Although there is not yet a proven cure for hepatitis C, some people benefit from drug treatment. You should discuss treatment with a doctor if you have hepatitis C. Standard medicines available include the following:
peginterferon alfa-2b (brand name: PEG-Intron)
peginterferon alfa-2a (brand name: Pegasys)
These medicines are given as a weekly shot. You may or may not need to use a ribavirin supplement in pill form (some brand names: Copegus, Rebetol, Virazole) along with interferon.
Other medicines available to treat hepatitis C include the following:
interferon alfa-2a (brand name:Roferon-A)
interferon alfa-2b (brand name: Intron A)
interferon alfacon-1 (brand name: Infergen)
interferon alfa-2b plus ribavirin (brand name: Rebetron)
These medicines are given as a shot every day, every other day or 3 times a week, for several months or longer. The length of treatment depends on how severe the infection is. Carefully following your doctor's advice and sticking with your treatment plan will reduce your risk of further liver damage.
Reply:There was also the day when profressing publicly that you thought the world was round would result in your head being chopped off.
Hep C is serious business. If I had it I would find others who have tried non-traditional (and maybe traditional) treatments and compare notes. h2o2 is one of those treatments I have heard of. ANY medicine, if you take too much of, will kill you. Water could be considered a medicine and if you drink too much of it, your body will go into shock from the elctrolyte imbalance and you could die. Same goes for anything else, including H2O2.
BTW, I started taking h2o2 orally for about a week. The friend who had told me about it then said she thought it wasn't good for you and I decided to quit it. I can't say what benefits I got from it, but I never finished the 17 day program of it. I do enjoy the bubbly in using it in a bath. This is using the food grade version of h2o2, it's much more concentrated that the drugstore version and doesn't contain the harmful preservatives, but it must be handled carefully and stored carefully.
Reply:Hydrogen peroxide is NOT effective for Hep C or anything else.
It should never be administered parenterally (IV).
Don't be a fool. Avoid quackery like this.

Reply:Opus, I don't believe you are in a position to call anyone a fool. Hydrogen Peroxide oxygenates the body's cells and can be a useful therapy for many conditions. There have even been a lot of people to heal themselves of cancer using herbs and hydrogen peroxide.

Does anyone know where I can find a good open source C# api for generating Excel reports?
Anyone know where to find a good Excel generation C# api?
I might be wrong, but I don't think you need 3rd party API to do that.
You just need to have Excel interop DLL and use it to create your own excel report.

Can you find out if someone has Hep. C thru the public health department?
I don't think someone is being honest with me.
Can you find out if someone has Hep. C thru the public health department?
no that kind of info is confidential
Reply:No, personal medical information is protected through HIPAA privacy laws. While the CDC does track infectious diseases like Hep C, it does not give out info on who has it. Hep C is not transmitted through bodily fluids; only blood to blood contact, so be careful of blood %26amp; don't share razors or toothbrushes or tattoo needles or anything like that. Otherwise, Hep C (HCV) is hard to transmit. Sexual transmission among stable, monogamous couples is less than 3%.
Reply:No, medical records are strictly confidential...however if you have had sexual relations an suspect STD from this person, and want to request tests and report contacts...that may help? It also is controlled State by State...some keep records, some don't...it's al 'bout $$$.
Reply:No, they don't keep track of that... and if they did, they can't give you medical information on anther person.
Here's a novel idea.... have this person go get tested for STDs and do so yourself.
Reply:No, its very personal information and the health department could get sued for releasing personal information to anyone but the person it belongs to, just get tested and treated if you have it but always use protection. Learn from your mistakes!
Reply:If a person has a sexually transmitted disease the local health department will be notified. If it is a serious disease such as syphillis, etc. they will ask for your sexual partners and can notify those people if they are, too, at risk. However, you cannot go into the health department and get anyone's medical background. If you even think that you could be at risk, you should get tested for your own well being (physcial and mental) as well as others that you could possibly infect. Good luck.
Reply:No one can tell you what they have except them. Their medical record is private.
You wouldn't want anyone to be able to find out if you had something wrong with you, would you?
I would be careful around this person to not interchange any body fluids, and definitely do not sleep with them!
Reply:If you are inquiring about someone else's-no. Health records are private for all. If you are worried you have it, get tested. Your results are for your ears only. Good Luck!
